About Me

Hi, I’m Suchit Jain, an undergrad student at Shiv Nadar University majoring in Electronics and Communication Engineering. I am a Machine Learning enthusiast, always exploring and applying it for various applications.

I have always been passionate about solving puzzles. I crave for the satisfaction it provides to solve a good puzzle. This passion fuels my urge to explore more problems, solve them and in the process learn something new.

In my 1.5 years of experience of working on machine learning projects, computer vision applications have often proven to be the most challenging ones. Thus, I have developed a keen interest in the sub-field and have chosen to explore it in much more detail. I led the computer vision division of the self-driving car project at my latest internship, which gave me an opportunity to develop and deploy some state of the art algorithms for object detection, lane detection, and 3D perception.

I am currently pursuing various academic projects in computer vision, robotics, deep learning, digital signal processing, and microcontroller design. I am also pursuing a research project in drone imagery manipulation and inference using computer vision.

I plan to pursue a career in a derived field of computer vision and plan to attend a grad school with a major in robotics and computer vision.
